Doreen Evelyn Slinn (nee McPeek)
January 26, 1927 – June 18, 2015
Doreen passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Doreen was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Slinn. She is survived by her daughter Dianne Dixon of Sherwood Park, AB; son John Douglas Slinn of Regina; grandchildren, Jesse Dixon, John (Jack) Slinn, Samuel Slinn and Robert Slinn. Doreen lived both in Regina and Swift Current. She worked at Robert Simpson Ltd in Regina, in several provincial government departments both in Regina and Swift Current, as well as in administration at the Federated Co-op in Swift Current. She was a longtime active member of the United Church and was involved in several service clubs. She supported Jack and served with him in his many volunteer endeavors, as well as sharing his passion for golf. A private family service and interment was held. A tea will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Paragon Funeral Services, 521 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK.
