WASSON, ELEANOR
The death of Eleanor E. Wasson of Minto, NB occurred Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Mill Cove Nursing Home. Born in Hopewell Cape, NB she was the daughter of the late Elmo and Lavinia (Mahar) Reid.
Survived by sons, Waldo (Cecil) of Hinton, AB, Robert (Thelma) of Boca Raton, Florida, Brian (Lorraine) of Dartmouth, NS, David (Jane) of Minto, NB and Kevin of Calgary, AB; daughters, Carolyn (Allison) of Cumberland Bay, NB, Gail Barton and Vicki Larson (Eric) all of Calgary, AB; daughter-in-law, Diane Wasson in Truro, NS; a brother, Harold Reid (Anne) of Whitby, ON; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Waldo Wasson; a son, Richard Wasson; a son in law, Orland Barton; brothers and sisters.
In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, June 26, 2015 from Trinity United Church, Minto.
