Charles Joseph Vickers (Charlie)
September 8, 1946 – June 16, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Vickers announces his sudden passing on Tuesday June 16 at Lewisporte NL, at the age of 68 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Charles was the son of the late Benjamin and Charlotte Vickers. He was also predeceased by his wife Debbie (nee Pardy), brother Benjamin Jr. and two infant brothers. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories his brother (Jim) Elaine Vickers, Nephews: Shawn Vickers, Paul (Rosie) Vickers all of Port aux Basques, great nephews: Steven, Benjamin, great niece Kaley, cousin Dorothy Hyde of Lewisporte, NL with whom he resided and a large circle of cousins, extended family and many friends. Visitation took place on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Saturday June 20, 3 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bay officiated by Major Marilyn and Captain Shawn Furey.
