The death occurred in Tewksbury, MA, on Wednesday, June 18, 2015, of Myrtle M. Bears, of Billerica, MA, aged 98 years. Born in Union Corner, PE, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Muttart) Barrett. Survived by her children Jeanne (J. Ronald) Collins of Charlottetown and Donald R. Bears of Lowell, MA; granddaughter Kristie Collins; grandson Michael (Karen) and by their children Jelena and Sadie. Predeceased by her husband Benjamin M. Bears; and by brothers Clarence, Kenneth and Raymond Barrett. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to Bedeque United Church, Bedeque, for visiting hours from 11 a.m. until time of the service. Funeral will be held at the Bedeque United Church on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
