It is with great sadness that the family of the late BRIDGET (BRIDE) MOORES of Fortune announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Tuesday, June 9, at the age of 77. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Reginald, of 58 years; sons, William Moores (Gail) of Wabush & Wade Moores of Fortune; daughters, Madeline Hillier (Reuben) of Labrador City & Elizabeth Moores (Partner, Darlene Baker) of Cobourg, ON; sister, Sharon Stacey (Eric Boland); brothers, Maurice Stacey, Joseph Stacey (Lillian), Peter Stacey (Evalina), Roach Stacey & Ben Stacey (Cathy); sister-in-law, Philomena Stacey; 3 grandchildren, Lindsay (David Janes), Adrian Moores (Erica Tennehouse) & Heather Moores; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Madeline Stacey; brother, Michael.

The Funeral Service took place at All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune on Friday, June 12, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation followed. In Bridget’s memory donations may be made to the Newfoundland Hard of Hearing Association or the Enbridge – Ride to Conquer Cancer. No flowers by request of the family.
