It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanette Alene MacDougall, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, on Friday, June 19, 2015, in the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Jeanette and Alfred Robinson.
Allie is survived by her husband Edmund (Butch) Macdougall, son Eddie MacDougall, daughter Diane McNeil, sisters, Loretta and Irma Robinson, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother Hector, Bill, John and sisters, Marion and Joan.
Allie always put the concerns of others well ahead of hers and she deeply touched the hearts of a great many people. She will be forever in our hearts and will be loved and missed by all.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay. There will be a graveside service held for her at Greenwood Cemetery, Highland Street, Glace Bay, on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 2 .p.m. There will be a small reception held at the Caledonia Club, following the service.
