Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family, on July 9th, 2015 of Paradise in his 84th year. Robert was pre-deceased by his grandson Russell. Leaving to mourn are his wife of 63 years, Louise (nee Squires), his 9 children, sons; Bob (Iris), Don (Marian), Larry (Jackie), Ernie (Debbie), Gordon, David (Gerri), daughters; Linda Squires, Barbara Skinner (Derek), Edie (Wayne). Also leaving to mourn are his 19 grandchildren and their spouses and/or partners; Lisa, Robbie, Tracey, Kim, Derek, Corey, Amanda, Aaron, Kurt, Christopher, Courtney, Stephen, Colin, Jonathon, Cameron, Lauren, Brandon, Grace and Cole. Also leaving to mourn are his 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, his brother Tom Sharpe (Sandra), sister-in-law Irene Halliday (Steve), brother-in-laws; Ralph Squires, Cyril Squires (Karen). Also leaving to mourn; his two very dear friends Theresa Hollahan and Mary Picco, as well a large circle of family and friends including the 50 Plus Club in Paradise. Cremation has taken place. There will be no Visitation by Rob's request. Funeral Service and Inurnment will take place in late September 2015. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
