William 'Roy' AuCoin

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William Roy AuCoin, 60, of Howie Centre, on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
Roy was a beloved husband to his wife, Darlene (Sheppard) and a doting father to his two daughters, Janelle and Kelsey. He was a son of the late Charles and Yvonne AuCoin of Reserve Mines.
Roy could only be described as the most selfless, loving man we have ever known. He devoted his life to his three girls and spent his days with his loving family.
He is also survived by his son-in-law, Jamie McDonald; brother, Bernie AuCoin; two sisters, Simone Walker (Collie) and Linda Morris (John); sisters-in-law, Diane Davis (Jim) and Marg Sheppard; nieces and nephews, Kirt, Scott and Kent Davis, Doug, Diane and Glenn Sheppard, Larry and Trevor AuCoin, Brian, Barbara and Karen Ferguson and Kirk and Monique Rennie.
Roy was predeceased by his brother, Alfred AuCoin; brother-in-law, George Sheppard and sisters-in-law, Carol AuCoin and Lucy AuCoin.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, with Archdeacon Brenda Drake officiating. Following the service a reception will be held in the church hall.
