Peacefully on July 9, 2015, surrounded by his family, John passed away at Scarborough General Hospital due to complications of COPD. He will be missed by his wife, Evelyn, his daughter, Donna, sons, Shawn (Melisa) and Keith (Lorraine). Cherished Papa to 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his sister, Hattie Hughes, in P.E.I. Predeceased by his brothers, Alfred and Billy. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews across Canada. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and technical staff in the ICU.
