“I’ve had a good life!” – Ron Reeve
After a full life of 88 years, Ron passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Born at the family homestead, Elim Farms near Grenfell, SK. Ron grew up in the farming community with his parents and brother Dennis. On July 10, 1949 he married his sweetheart, Ethel Annie Hewitt, Ron is predeceased by their infant daughter Rhonda, grandson Colton White, granddaughter Maranda Reeve and brother Dennis Reeve. Ron is survived by his bride of 66 years Ethel, sons Warren, Barry (Gerri), Randy (Margo), Kelly (Karen), Rick (Michelle), daughter Lori White (Ron) and their families, including 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ron loved visiting with family and friends at home, at Buffalo Pound Lake, and at the Anavets. He enjoyed playing pool, working in the garden and watching the Blue Jays play. Ron was an avid reader, and also had a few stories of his own to tell. We will celebrate his life and honour his memory at a Memorial Tea to be held on Friday, July 24, 2015, at 2:00 pm, in the Redpath Lounge at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. W, Moose Jaw, SK.
