Leslie Fillmore
Leslie Harry Fillmore went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sackville, he was a son of the late Hantford and Eva (Bowser) Fillmore.
Leslie was a faithful and active member of Salem Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon, a choir member, a member of the Missions Committee, and helped in anyway he could around the church. He sprayed enamel for Enterprise Foundry for 38 years. A husband, father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Dollie (Sears) Fillmore, Sackville; sons David, Richmond Hill, ON and Craig (Anne), Richmond Hill, ON; daughters Tracey Jackson, Amherst, NS and Rachel Cameron, Moncton, NB; six grandchildren Laura Anne, Jennifer, Jeffery, Lacey, Nicholas and Nathan; four great grandchildren, Tyson, Bailey, Priah, and Adalynn; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother Carlson and sisters Muriel Barry, Helen Crossman, and Ina Fillmore.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held from Salem Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 2 pm, Pastor Henry Grift officiating. A reception will take place in the Church Hall followed by burial in the Midgic Cemetery.
