Michael (Mike) Hiibner of La Ronge and formerly of MacDowall, passed away on Thursday July 16, 2015 at the age of 60 years. Mike is survived by his loving family, his brother Bill (Linda) Hiibner of Regina, his sister Donna Hiibner (Harold Ross) of Calgary, AB and his brother Don (Estelle) Hiibner of Calgary. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nephews Jeff (Crystal and special grand-niece Kenley) Hiibner, Darren (Michelle) Hiibner of Regina, and Matt (Nancy Matthews) Hiibner; his nieces Sara Hiibner and Emily Hiibner of Calgary, and his special Canine buddy Annie. Mike is also survived by his special cousin Judy (Garth) Beddome of Prince Albert, his numerous cousins, and Mike’s extended family in northern Saskatchewan. Mike was predeceased by his parents Mike and Helen Hiibner, and special friend Charlene. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday July 20 from River Park Memorial Chapel Prince Albert, with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuck officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Mike’s memory to the Palliative Care Unit at the Regina Pasqua Hospital where he passed away, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
