Passed peacefully away at his home in Spaniard's Bay surrounded by his loving family, George Hunter Gosse aged 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Solomon and Agnes Gosse; parents-in-law Thomas and Ada Foote; sisters Emma and Mary; Brothers Bob (Scot) and Charlie; Sister-in-law Doris; Brothers-in-law Stewart (Florence) Foote and David (Anna) Foote. Leaving to mourn the loss are his wife of 54 years Ruth; daughters Cheryl and Gail (Tony). Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren Deon (Paula) and Devon (Jolene) and great-grandchildren Benjamin, Samantha, Rachel and Jaxon George; Sisters-in-law Bertha Gosse, Mary Rowe (Harrison-deceased); Brothers-in-law Tom (Joan) Foote, Harris (Geri) Foote; nieces and nephews; other family members and friends including his caregivers Tammy Parsons and Millicent Bishop. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home Spaniard's Bay. Visitation hours from 2-9 Wednesday July 22. Service will be held on Thursday at 2PM, Holy Redeemer Church, Spaniard's Bay. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail Spca PO Box 273 Carbonear NL A1Y 1B7or Holy Redeemer Church Spaniard's Bay. Cremation will follow as per his wishes.
