Passed away at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital, Kingston, Ont., with his family by his side, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the age of 76.
Beloved husband of Ann (née King). Cherished father of Ralph Pottie Jr. (Julie), David Pottie (Sue), Glen Pottie (Laura) and Patricia Bettschen (David). Proud Poppa of Tasha, Tabatha, Jason, Kevin, Tyler, James, Eric, Nicholas and Tiffani-Amber. Survived by his sister Lillian Dickenson.
Born in Whiteside, Nova Scotia in 1938, Ralph was the son of George and Florence Pottie. He was employed at Dupont in Kingston until retiring in 1995 after 30 years of service.
Visitation at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home - Township Chapel, 435 Davis Dr., Kingston, Ont. on Sunday, July 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, July 27 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie, Ontario.
