McLEOD, GEORGE DONALD (WWII Veteran)
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of George McLeod of Fredericton, formerly of Rolling Dam, NB on July 24, 2015 at the Veteran’s Health Care Unit. Born October 16, 1921 in Bonny River, he was the son of the late Donald and Blanche (Kinney) McLeod.
George is survived by his loving wife Annie (Noddin) McLeod, son, Richard (Gigi) of London, Ont., daughter Tanya Hiew (Fon) of Fredericton, NB, grandchildren Mitchell Manzer, Rob Monroe, Dacia Tulk, Ryan McLeod, Kalian, Kaiden and Tianna Hiew, seven great-grandchildren, sister Alvina Marshall, brother Ralph McLeod, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
George was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia and sons Peter and Joseph, three brothers and five sisters.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB.
