AUSTIN, PERCY
The death of Percy Austin occurred suddenly on July 27, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 9, 1938, in Cambridge, NB, he was the son of the late John and Addie (Tilley) Austin.
Percy is survived by his wife Louise Austin of Whites Cove, NB; brother Frank Austin (Catharine) of Whites Cove, NB; niece Joy Hanlin (Junior) of Henderson Settlement, NB; and nephew, John Austin of Whites Cove, NB.
In addition to his parents, Percy was predeceased by his brother, Tilley Austin.
Percy was a member of the Jemseg Lions Club for over 30 years. He loved music and having his jam sessions.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial Service will be at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm with The Rev. Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will take place in the St. John Anglican Cemetery in Whites Cove following the service.
