Rudolf Freidrich Carl Gartz passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015, at home on the family farm, with his family by his side. Rudolf leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katharina (Hildebrand); his children, Gail (Robert) Shaw, Darwin Gartz, Faye (Greg) Lendrum; his grandchildren, Devon Shaw, Levi Shaw, Bailey Lendrum, Brayden Lendrum, Devon (Sam Bray), Levi (Teya Kuntz); his great-granddaughter, Myla Kuntz; a sister, Antolena Ruf; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, August & Olga (Kuhn) Gartz; his sisters, Clara (Gus) Janke, Hulda (Pete) Gerbrandt, Olga (Alex) Heffley, Ruth (Rudy) Sowiak; and by a brother-in-law, William Ruf. The Graveside Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Prairie View District with Pastor Eugene Mau and Pastor Manfred Kurschner officiating.
