MACHUM, CECIL
Cecil Terry Machum passed away on August 3, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Terry was born to Cecil A. and Eliza (Balmer) Machum in Saint John, NB on August 17, 1937.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norma (Steeves) Machum and their five children, Stephen (Shaun Smith), Susan (Michael Clow), Heather, Peter (Shelley McAdam) and Paul (Crystal). Terry is also survived by twelve grandchildren — Genevieve, Sarah (Craig Miller), Mary Lynn, Hannah, Michelle, Chelsea, Alexander, Emily, Darcy, Gavin, Derian and Amelia — and one great-grandson, Harrison Harvey Miller. He is survived by his brother Kenneth and his four sisters, Ann Crawford (Bill), Elizabeth Fleming, Harriet Tracy, and Ruth Jennings (Robert); sister-in-law Joy Short (Peter), brother-in-law Gordon Waye and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by both his parents, brothers William (infant) and James Randolph.
In lieu of visitation and a funeral service, a reception to remember Terry will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 87 located on Olinville Road on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. If you wish to make a donation, please select the charity of your choice.
