SURETTE, Joseph Dennis Gerald, 72, Sandy Point, passed away at home on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Delbert and Annie Surette. Joe loved baseball games and was a fan of the Blue Jays. He enjoyed watching boats come up the Shelburne Harbour, especially the Coast Guard boats. He loved listening to country music. Joe is survived by brother, Kenneth (Jane), Ontario; sister, Betty, Sandy Point; niece Angela and nephews Stephen, Danny and Michael. A memorial service was held on Monday, August 3 in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Shelburne with Father Keith Billard officiating.
