Francois "Frank" Despres

Francois "Frank" Despres

DESPRES, FRANÇOIS "FRANK" JOSEPH
February 20, 1942-August 10, 2015
In loving memory of Frank Despres, who passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on August 10, 2015.
Frank was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Frank was very kind and loved to talk and laugh with his many friends and family. Frank was employed as a Barber in Chatham, New Brunswick for 41 years. He truly loved to watch his three son’s play Baseball and Hockey while they grew up in Chatham. Frank worked hard his whole career, and after, to provide a good and stable family life for his wife and three sons. This was despite dealing with various illness’ himself for many years. He was a fine example of what anyone would expect from a husband and father. Frank never hesitated to help his friends and extended family if and when they needed it. Truly exceptional from a man who grew up fishing and working with his father in Baie-Ste-Anne, NB.
He is predeceased by his father Victor, his mother Déomine, and two very young brother’s Lévis and Roger.
He is survived by his wife Julie, his son’s Eric (Carol), Michel (Nancy) and André (Terri Lynn). He is also survived by his two brothers Arsène and Jean-Guy and his five sisters Andréa, Éveline, Anne-Marie, Pauline and Carmel. He was a loving grandfather to Andrée, Alexi, Abby and Erika Despres.
Frank Despres is resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A celebration of life will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica on Thursday, August 13, 2015 with internment at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations to the memorial of one's choice would be appreciated.
