Shawn K. Costello, age 42, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, while playing at the lake with his son, an event both tragic and consoling, his last hours spent with the person he loved best in the world.
Shawn was a loving father. He was so many things: Helvetica zealot; Johnny Cash disciple; Star Wars freak; music lover; artist; in taste a balance of kitsch and beauty; in spirit so kind and patient.
He was a son, a brother, a father, a friend. To the very end he loved deeply and passionately. He will be missed.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, 2-4 p.m. at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, N.S.
