It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louise Stoodley of Grand Bank, announces her passing at the G. B. Cross Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, August 21, 2015, at the age of 86. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her brother Roy Stoodley of Grand Falls, plus many nieces and nephews and a circle of close friends, especially the staff and residents of Cozy Quarters Personal Care Home in Clarenville. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Louisa Stoodley; sisters, Eleanor Forsey (Walter), Ester Forsey (Sam), Mary King (Jack); Annie Tibbo (Gilbert), Marion Stoodley,; brothers, Elic Stoodley (Sadie), Robert Stoodley (Myrtle), Thomas Stoodley (Alice), Max Stoodley (Jean), John Stoodley. A family service was conducted by Rev. Marilyn Rees on Sunday, August 23, at 2:00 p.m. from Warren's Funeral Home. Organist was Jeanette Dampier. Internment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Grand Bank. Pall Bearers were; Aubrey Wells, Kelvin Matthews, George Forsey, Edward Cooper, Tom Cumben, & Edgar Bonnell. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's funeral Home Grand Bank.
