McLAUGHLIN, LORNA
October 6, 1939 – August 15, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorna McLaughlin of St. Albans, Maine on August 15, 2015 at the age of 75. Born in Jemseg, N.B. she was the daughter of Hinson and Myra Dykeman.
Lorna graduated from Sussex High School and Moncton School of Nursing. She married Charles McLaughlin and they had four beautiful daughters. They lived mainly in St Albans, Maine and traveled extensively after retirement.
Lorna will be remembered as a very kind loving wife, mother and sister with a great sense of humor. She is survived by her husband Charles, daughters Karen [Robert] Woods, Shelly McLaughlin, Linda McLaughlin, Heather [Trevor] Gordon, many grandchilderen and great grandchilderen. She is also survived by siblings Almeda [Arthur] McKnight, Judith [Edwin] Carr, Dianne Dykeman, Brian [Margaret] Dykeman,and Brenda [Philip] Fanjoy. As well as sisters in law Vera [Charles] Turner, Ann[Eldon] Snider, Susan [Roman] Klimowiez, Helen [Anthony[ McLaughlin and brothers in law Douglas [Marie] McLaughlin, and Robert McLaughlin.
A private family service was held in St. Albans. Interment at a later date.
