Sister Hélène Landry, ndsc, in religion Sr. Patrice-Marie, of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the convent where she resided following a long illness. She was 88 and in her 68th year of her religious life. Born June 2, 1927 in Pokemouche, she was the daughter of the late Romain and Hélène (Blanchard) Landry.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by one sister, Sr Édithe, ndsc; many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by four sisters: Alice, Agnès, Rose-Anna and Sr Lucie, ndsc; six brothers: Romain, Arthur, Georges, Marc, Père Patrice, csc, and Raymond.
Sister Landry will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavillion of the Maison-mère convent at 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance). Visiting hours Tuesday, September 1st from 2 to 9 pm, and Wednesday from 9 am. Solemn vespers will be held Tuesday evening at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated in their chapel on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 10 am. Interment will be in Memramcook.
