ALLAIN, MARC - 1969 - 2015 - Marc Allain, BBA, CPA, CGA, 45, of Dieppe, tragically passed away, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in Sackville, N.B. Born on December 8, 1969 in Moncton, he was the son of Herman and Exelda (Léger) Allain, of Moncton.
Marc was an accountant, tax expert, and a partner with Allain & Associates for the past 25 years, after working for Irving Oil for two years as an auditor. A genuine, humble, determined, generous, proud, and hardworking man with a heart of gold, he was devoted at everything he did and was always willing to help anyone in need. Loyal and family oriented, Marc loved his wife and children. He was fearless and lived life to the fullest and enjoyed sports and the outdoors. During his younger years, he was involved with the Air Cadets and the Moncton-Dieppe Hockey Association as a player and recently as a coach who was loved by the kids.
Besides his parents, he will be greatly missed by his wife, Anik Dubé; two children: Jacob and Emma, both at home; one brother, Dan (France Côté-Allain); his goddaughter, Zoé, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
He was predeceased by an infant brother, Michel.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Monday September 7, 2015 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Marc, a contribution to the Maurice Léger Kick Ball Foundation, the CHU Dumont Foundation, or the Food Depot Alimentaire would be appreciated.
