Passed peacefully away at the Hillcrest Estates Personal Care Home on Sept 5, 2015, Marion Barrett of Norman's Cove age 99 years. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Barrett formerly of Old Perlican. Parents Jacob and Mildred Smith, brothers; Eugene, Jacob, Cyril and Norman. Brother-in-law Cyril Bemister, Eric Reid and James Mercer. Sisters-in-law; Mary, Thelma, Evelyn, Mildred and Julia. Leaving to mourn with memories and to celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her sisters; Susie Mercer, Bay Roberts, Marjorie Smith, Norman's Cove, Vida Bemister, St. John's and Muriel Randell (Sterling), Corner Brook. Brothers; Ernest and Kenneth, Kelligrews and Winston (June), Upper Gullies, sister-in-law, Bernice Smith, Paradise. Also a large number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at the Good Shepherd Church, Norman's Cove. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Wednesday (family only) 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral Service to take place from The Church of the Good Shepherd on Wednesday at 2 pm. Internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Norman's Cove. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Good Shepherd Church Memorial Fund or a Charity of One's Choice.
