Céline Gallant, 61, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on September 12, 1953 in Chatham, she was the daughter of Dorina (Cormier) Martin of Moncton (formerly of Baie-Ste-Anne) and the late Conrad Martin.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Arthur Gallant; three daughters: Marise (Gabriel Cormier) and Sonia (Michel Gallant), both of Moncton and Solange Oldfield (Denis) of Dieppe; six sisters: Évangéline of Moncton, Simone McIntyre (Marc) and Rosa Pellerin (Valerie “Snouk”), both of Baie-Sainte-Anne, Diane (Guillaume DeBrouwer) of Ottawa, ON, Bernadette of Granby, QC and Jeanne of Québec, QC; three brothers: Roger (Germaine) of Miramichi, Marcel of Moncton and Etienne of Baie-Sainte-Anne; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by three sisters: Aurélie, Yolande and Thérèse.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton.
