The family of Kathleen Lewis wishes to extend our appreciation to all those who showed their thoughtful support at the time of our loss. To our family and friends who have been there consistently for us throughout the years of Kathleen’s illness, we are forever grateful. To those who visited, phoned, brought food, sent flowers, cards, monetary gifts, or made donations in her memory, we cannot thank you enough. To those who came from near and far to attend the visitation and service, we thank you for your kindness. To the patrons of Alderdale Greens, thank you for always demonstrating your concern. To her sister Susan who was not only her best friend but one of her primary caregivers over the past number of years, we will never forget you. To family and friends who gave freely of their time so Kathleen would not be alone during her hospital stays. Special thanks to Dr. Jenson and Dr. Mac Cormack and all the wonderful staff of the Cancer Center. Also to Dr. D’Intino and the caring Palliative Care staff, thank you for your compassion. Thank you to Dr. Butler, Dr. Stone, and the staff of the OR, for being there in our time of need. To all the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital who has cared for Kathleen over the years, we are forever grateful. Special thanks to the VON for the care at home. To Sheldon, Wendy and the staff of Chant’s Funeral Home, thank you for the excellent services you provided. To everyone who was there for us, thank you.
