Sandy Cameron
Alexander Walter “Sandy” Cameron age 75 of Marshdale Road, Hopewell passed away September 24th, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born March 14, 1940 he was a son of the late Alexander Walter and Nellie E. (Gray) Cameron.
Sandy was a resident of Hopewell most of his life. He worked as a mechanic and later went on to teach auto mechanics at the NSCC. Sandy enjoyed spending time with his dog Buddy, as well as hunting, fishing and biking at his camp in Trafalgar.
He is survived by his wife the former Jean MacDonald, sons Richard, Hopewell; Stephen, Trenton; daughter Andrea (Mike) Cameron, Hopewell; grandson Kyle Cameron, brother William (Winifred), Trafalgar; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Sandy may be made to the Hopewell Cemetery or the Canadian Cancer Society.
