Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, September 27, 2015, Ella Lucretia (Parsons) Churchill of St. John's, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents Frank and Dulcie Parsons; sisters: Vina, Olive and Gwendolyn; brothers: Herbert (Christine), Ewart, Frank, Douglas and Frank. Leaving to mourn son: Desmond (Heather) of Ottawa, ON; three daughters: Norma (Donald Cunningham - deceased) of Gibbons, AB; Dana (Gary Hutchings) of Hr. Grace, NL and Elizabeth (Patrick Lauzier) of Wainwright, AB; six grandchildren: Desmond, Desiree, Lucas, Kaitlyn, Rhiannon and Neil; seven step-grandchildren: Dana, Colin, Jessica, Jahne, Katrina, Nathan and Jayd; three step-great-grandchildren: David, Ethan and Ava; four sisters: Shirley, Marina, Elizabeth (Ray Baggs), and Vina (Bruce Rees); two sisters-in-law: Margaret Parsons and Jessie Parsons; very special friend Norman Churchill as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barret's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John's, NL Wednesday, September 30, 2015 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, October 1, 2015 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Barrett's Chapel. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
