Passed peacefully at Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Thursday, October 1, 2015 of Donald “Willard” Nicholson of Charlottetown, age 87 years.
Beloved husband of Doreen, loving father of Allan, Wayne (Sandra), Dale (Noella) and Audrey Duffy (Philip).
Donald will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Lyndsey, Brandon, Donald, Mallory, Marshall and Lily; sisters - Elizabeth Hancock and Alice Whitlock, brother, Mack Nicholson and brother-in-law - Vernon Hardy.
He was predeceased by his parents Angus and Mary (nee MacKinnon) Nicholson, brother, Angus Nicholson, sisters - Ruth Acorn, Jean Hardy and Mary Cowden, sister-in-law, Ellen Nicholson; brothers-in-law - Ivan Hancock, Patrick Cowden, Percy Acorn and George Whitlock.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 2-5 p.m.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford Chapel at 2 p.m.
Interment will take place later at the Polly Cemetery, Mount Buchanan.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
