It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Joan Kennedy on Oct. 1, 2015, at Seaview Manor, Glace Bay, with family at her side.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late David and Annie Campbell.
Joan was employed with CBVRDS as a bus aid. She was a member of the Glace Bay Garden Club and Knox United Church UCW.
Surviving are daughter Anne(Robert) Boehner; son Bob (Alanna) Kennedy; grandchildren, Alan, Brian, Bruce and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Ryleigh, Ben and Olivia.
Besides parents, she was predeceased by husband Evan and sister Shirley.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Burial will take place at a later date.
