Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 Gerald (Gerry) Lloyd Smith of Spaniard's Bay, aged 61 years. Predeceased by his father, Lloyd. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife, Bonnie, of 36 years; two sons, Jeremy (Alison), Jared and Mother Rosie; three sisters, Donna Geach (Bob), Sharlene McCarthy (Larry), Claudine Mazurek (Mark), and Brother-in-law John (Darlene); four-legged friend, Buddy; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home Spaniard's Bay, Visitation, Saturday, October 10, 2pm to 9pm. Private, family inurnment to follow. No flowers by request. A donation box will be in place at Lynch's Funeral Home, which will be used for a donation to the Carbonear Hospital in Gerald's name, or donations can be made directly to the Carbonear Hospital in his name.
