Phyllis died as a result of a car accident on Oct. 8, 2015. Left behind to mourn are her husband, Paul Hagen; her daughter Allyson McCarron (Shawn); her three beautiful grandchildren, Carly, Luke and Kayla; special niece Kelli Matheson (Robbie) and her mother Beryl Lawless/Hamill. Phyllis is also survived by three sisters, Carol Anne (David) Edwards, Sandra McCourt (Tony Richard) and Milly Hamill, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her father James Hamill, brothers James and Paul and sisters Roberta and Valerie. Phyllis is resting at the Lawless Funeral Home in Kinkora until Tuesday, Oct. 13, and then to St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Kinkora for funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. No visiting hours by family request. Cremation to follow the funeral mass. Private family interment will happen at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Food Bank or Humane Society. Following the Funeral Mass a reception will be held at Emerald Community Centre.
