LeBLANC, DONALD
Donald R. LeBlanc of Residence Senateur Roméo LeBlanc, Memramcook (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the age of 67. Born in Memramcook East on December 13, 1947, he was the son of the late Joseph LeBlanc and the late Alida LeBlanc.
He worked at Ben’s Bakery until his retirement. He loved his music especially his accordion, he was the president of the resident association where he lived and volunteered a lot for the bingo, cards and quilting.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Carmen; two sons, Brian (Marie-Josée) of Montreal and Albert (Sylvie) of Dartmouth; three grandchildren, Matisse, Julian and Jasmine; three sisters, Thérèse (Oscar) Richard and Lila (Victor) LeBlanc both of Dieppe and Clara (late Antoine) Bourgeois of Memramcook East; two brothers, Walter (Yvonne) of Memramcook and Eugène (Carole) of Memramcook East and by special nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Rita, Marie and Bertha and by two brothers, Léonard and Yvon.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be held in the Notre Dame de Lourdes parish cemetery, Memramcook East.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fondation Melissa.
