The regular stuff ... Dave Fost, formerly of St. John's, NL passed away on October 9, 2015 in Winnipeg, MB. Survived by his best friend and wife of 42 years Janet (Stratton); Daughter Krista (Marc Tellier) (MB); Daughter Sherri and beloved grandkids Brandon, Jade, Jonathan and Malachi (ON); Sister Dianne (Bill Boyd); Brother Wayne (Lauralei Greenland); Brother-in-law Ed Stratton (Judy Driscoll) (NL); seven nephews and one niece.

The cool stuff ... In Newfoundland and Labrador Dad was involved in church outreach and youth ministries and started the Paint Shop Franchise. After moving to ON in 1988 he worked with the Billy Graham Assoc. for 14 years until diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease (early-onset). They moved to AB in 2004 where he advocated for those with the disease and moved to MB in 2012.

The important stuff ... Dad picked the best wife and mother and gave us a Christ-centered home. He gifted us with time, humor and unconditional love. Thanks Dad for sharing so much of yourself with us and others. Your legacy will live on in everyone you touched.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Deer Lodge Centre. A mural with family input will be dedicated in Dad's name.
