CRAFT, MELBOURNE "MEL" SAMUEL WILLIAM
Surrounded by his loving family, Melbourne “Mel” Craft, loving husband to the late Judith (Goddard) Craft, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on November 23, 1952 to the late Frank and Alene (Craft) Craft.
Mel enjoyed playing horseshoes at Shamrock Park and he loved to bowl. He will be missed by those who knew him.
Mel is survived by his daughter Krista (Michael) Webb, his grandchildren Isabelle and Nicholas Webb, his sister Lily (Alfred) Lebeau, his nephew Frank (Aggie Pitre) Hampton, great nephew Josh Pitre and father-in-law Arthur Goddard, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his parents and wife, Judith, Mel was predeceased by his mother-in-law Sheila Goddard.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21 from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Chapel with interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
Due to an allergy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
