HUMPHREY, GUY
Guy Stephen Humphrey passed away with his family by his side on October 18, 2015 at Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home, St Andrews, NB. Guy was the son of James and Elsie (Baines) Humphrey of Hampton, NB born June 14, 1947.
Guy is survived by wife, Martha (Taylor) of 42 years, daughter, Joanne Humphrey of London, Ontario, son, James (Leslie) and grandpuppy Ruby of Halifax, NS., brother, Frank (Patricia) Humphrey of Fredericton, NB., uncle, Raymond Baines of Saint john, NB., aunt, Grace Baines of Dollard Des Ormeaux, PQ., cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as numerous special friends, who were there for Guy and his family for support through his long journey of goodbye.
Guy enjoyed social time with family and friends, especially his time of leisure at the cottage on his beloved Belleisle Bay or cheering on his favourite team "Montreal Canadiens". Guy was an animal lover, as he continuously displayed his affection towards his four legged granddaughter, Ruby.
Guy attended Mount Allison University. He worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia and Irving Oil Ltd., retiring from Canada Border Services after thirty two and a half years. Guy belonged to the Masonic Lodge of Hampton, NB.
The family would like to express sincerest gratitude to caring staff of Passamaquoddy Lodge. Special expression of thanks to the RN's, LPN's, RA's etc. Their kindness and caring towards Guy for the twenty seven months he was there, was appreciated more than you could ever know.
In keeping with Guy's tradition of helping others, his remains have been donated to Dalhousie Medical School in Halifax, NS. No service or visitation by request.
