In her 80th year passed peacefully away after a lengthy battle with COPD at the Dr. L.A Miller Center in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Walter Coombs, her son Curtis Blair Norman and sisters Evelyn and Rose. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her loving husband Frank, children: Pamela (Randy), Stewart (Charles) and their three children: Grace, Lily and Harmony, Stephen (Ann Marie), Lisa (Shawn); grandchildren: Renee (Brent), Corie (Amanda), Andrea (Joe), Samantha, Rebecca, Lucas and Sarah; great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Hayden, Natalie, and Layne; loving sisters: Daphne and Audrey; brother Eric. A special thank you to her niece Sandra and her sister Daphne. Shirley will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. Shirley's family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and support. Cremation has taken place. Private family service will take place on Thursday October 22nd at 2 pm from Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, with private interment to follow the funeral service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, where Shirley will be laid to rest with her loving mother and son.
