Landry C.D., Gerald
Gerald Landry C.D. of Oasis d’Or, Dieppe (formerly of Memramcook) passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday October 22, 2015 at the age of 88.
Born in Memramcook on December 19, 1926, he was the son of the late Vital Landry and the late Marguerite LeBlanc. He was a Master Warrant Officer in the Army Signal Corps for 24 years and at #5 Depot for eight years until his retirement.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Zella; two daughters, Laura Landry of Toronto and Lisa (Arthur) Boudreau of Memramcook; three sons, Raymond Landry of Toronto, Richard (Helen) Landry of Ottawa and Steven (Carolyn) Landry of Moncton; three grandchildren, Andrea, Danielle and Aaron; two great-grandchildren, Felix and Valerie; one sister, Jacqueline (Leonard) Saulnier of Memramcook; one brother, Raymond (Therese) Landry of Memramcook; step children, Roger, Maurel, Marcel, Estelle, Eugene, Guy, Marise and Monette; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Enid; one sister, Loretta; two brothers, Laurie and Aurele and by one step son, Pierre.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Sunday October 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church on Monday October 26 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
