She was predeceased by her husbands: Régis Cormier and Albert LeBlanc; three brothers: Alexandre, Antoine and Léo, as well as a sister, Lorraine.
Marie was a person who loved life very much. She enjoyed when her children, grandchildren and friends came to visit. She also had a great sense of humour. She was a very enterprising person. For several years, she was in charge of the church suppers during the novena of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, and for the preparation for wedding suppers. She was an excellent seamstress, and during her retirement, she enjoyed making quilts that she gave to her children and grandchildren. She also loved to knit. When she wasn’t knitting, she was reciting the rosary. Thus it fed her great devotion to the Virgin Mary.
