It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry William Companion, age 72, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL, on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Theresa Companion; siblings Yvonne Doody (Jack), Bernard Companion (Paula), David Companion, Joseph Companion; parents-in-law Dorman and Rosie Mitchell; sister-in-law Eva Randell. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Goldie Companion, Baie Verte, NL; children Lisa Companion (Jim Saunders), Baden, ON and Joe Companion (Dionne), Waterloo, ON; grandchildren Bradley and Bianca Carchidi; Kael and Sophie Companion; siblings Gertie Batstone (Herb), Agnes Taylor (Jack), Pauline House (Gord), Ronnie Companion, Judy Companion (Wade Mugridge) and Genny Gabriel (Amos); siblings-in-law Sonya Companion, Nina Decker (Winston), Gideus Mitchell (Leatrice), Myrtle Parsons (Bill), Linda Burton, Lola Simms (Ernest), Maisie Smith, Dennis Mitchell (Sylvia), Guy Mitchell (Ann), Avis Frances (David Elvarade) and Larry Mitchell (Lisa Squires); many other nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Woodstock, NL on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2 pm.
