FLETCHER, PAUL CYRIL
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Cyril Fletcher of Charters Settlement on Tuesday, October 26th, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Wesley and Mae (O’Leary) Fletcher.
To many he was known as Paul Fletcher, but to those close to him, he was Hun, Dad and Grampy. Paul was a loving husband and father, a farmer, a horseman, and an avid gardener. One thing could be said for sure he loved a good cup a tea.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol (Burpee) Fletcher, his three loving daughters; Barbara Fletcher Burnett, Karen Thomas (Kevin), Jocelyn Clark (Brad); his seven grandchildren; Katelyn Thomas, Kirsten Thomas, Kaleb Thomas, Keegan Thomas, Benjamin Burnett (Alisha), Ryan Clark and Grace Clark; his sister Lynda “Kate” Johnson (Brian), as well as many nieces and great nieces and nephews.
Paul is predeceased by his parents Wesley and Mae Fletcher, his sisters Elizabeth Fletcher, Mildred Daniel, Althea Fraser, and brother Ernest Fletcher.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 1224 Route 101, Nasonworth, NB on Thursday, October 29 at 2:00 PM with Rev’d Canon Bruce McKenna officiating. Interment to follow in Saint Mary the Virgin Anglican Church Cemetery, New Maryland, NB.
The family would like to thank the staff of 4SW and Dr. Trish Bryden, Dr. Keith Pawluk for the care that they provided for both Paul and his family.
