Sarah Jane Cotton The death of Sarah Jane Cotton, 71, of Springhill, occurred at All Saints Hospital on Friday, October 23, 2015. Born, June 2, 1944, Sarah was a daughter of the late William and Irene Moran.
Sarah was a proud and dedicated mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family. She was a devoted fan of hockey and frequented the flea markets when possible. She was a kind and generous member of the community and loved by all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed by two sons, Roger (Elizabeth), Kingston, ON and Alton (Holly), Mount Pearl, NL; four grandchildren, Amy, Amanda, Kenesha and Lucas; a sister Mary Anne (Don) Murphy, Oshawa; former husband, John Cotton, Athol, and several nieces and nephews.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill (902-597-2361) from where a time of visitation was held on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service held from the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 pm. Father Phil Thibodeau officiating.
