CHARLTON, Ivan Wesley - age 83 of Bridgetown, formerly of Annapolis Royal, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2015 at the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Greywood on April 13, 1932, he was the son of the late John and Annabelle (Mailman) Charlton. Ivan was a woodman for many years who had a quick wit and good sense of humor. He loved country music. He is survived by his sister, Hattie Rafuse of Bridgewater and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Percy and Walter; sisters, Ida Charlton, Nina Smith, Mary Hogan, Vera Dunn and Leona Rafuse. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29th from 7-9 pm and Memorial Service, Friday, October 30th at 2 pm; both from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Juanita Barteaux officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ivan may be sent to charity of one’s choice.
