Passed peacefully away at her home in Heart's Content on Saturday, October 31, 2015 Betty Piercey age 96 years. Predeceased by husband George. Leaving to mourn five sons George (Betty), Roy, Calvin, Don (Veronica), and Ken (Joanne); one daughter Frances (Albert Cumby). Seven special grandchildren Chris, Jeffrey, Jason, Renee, Stephen, Donna and Gail. Five great-grandchildren Cody, Cameron, Annabelle, Benjamin and Hailey. Special caregivers Joanna and Chrissy Courage and Taylor Moore. Also many nieces and nephews in Newfoundland and Scotland. Resting at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Heart's Content. Visiting hours Monday 2-5 a.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday 10 - 11:30 a.m. funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Heart's Content. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Janeway Children's Hospital or the Children's Wish Foundation.
