Mary "Patricia" Robinson

ROBINSON, MARY "PATRICIA"
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Patricia “Pat” Robinson announce her passing on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John, NB.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Murray "Austin" Robinson, her daughters, Carolyn Norman and Krista Robinson, her son Andrew (Sara) and her sister Brenda Chafe. She also leaves behind her four beloved grandchildren: Rachel and Alicia Norman and Austin and William Robinson. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth McNiven and her parents George and Florence Chapter.
Pat was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and moved to NB when she was 18. New Brunswick became her home but she always remained a proud Newfoundlander. Pat was a loving mother and a true homemaker. She took great pride in her family and loved them dearly. She was especially known for her great cooking skills, her preparedness and her amazing ability to talk. We will truly miss her lengthy conversations as well as her ability to pull a fully prepared meal out of the freezer at any moment’s notice. Pat was a generous and loving grandmother and could often be found lovingly catering to their needs whether it be serving eggs in an eggcup, holding tea parties, watching their cheer competitions or hockey games or just feeding them ice-cream. Pat loved children and genuinely cared about everyone’s family and was always interested in meeting new people, listening to their life stories and of course, sharing news about her own family.
Arrangements are in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Friday, November 6, from 6pm to 9pm. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. George Catholic Church on Saturday, November 7th at 11am. Interment in St. George Rural Cemetery, St. George, NB.
Donations to Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John, NB and the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
