Richard, Rita Bond
The death of Rita Bond Richard occurred November 6th, 2015 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born in Chandler, QC on July 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Zoë (Gionet) Bond and wife of 55 years to Camille Richard of Fredericton.
Rita was a very compassionate and generous woman, always giving and putting her family first. Her eyes would light up when she saw her grandson Nathaniel, and she was always smiling or laughing whenever any children or animals were around, especially the family dog Kloé.
She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Liza Allison (Ron) of Fredericton; her precious grandson, Nathaniel Richard Allison; her sisters, Marie Ange Doyon, Dorine Dionne and Irene Bond (Marcel Lefebvre) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Roger, Roland, Gertrude and Bertha.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Pine Grove Nursing Home for their exceptional care given to Rita and her family. She loved you all dearly.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at Ste-Anne-des-Pays-Bas on Tuesday, November 10th. 2015 at 12:00 pm noon with Fr. Don Savoie as celebrant. Interment will take place in the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Pine Grove Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or the SPCA.
