MAHONEY, MICHAEL H.
1954 - 2015
It is with profound sadness that Michael's sisters announce his passing on Sunday, November, 8, 2015 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover after a short but brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Michael was the cherished son of the late Dan and Helen (Keenan) Mahoney of Johnville.
Michael had a wonderful gift of Faith and proud of his Irish Heritage. He left a indelible impression on everyone who knew him. He had a genuine warmth, huge heart and a sharp and curious mind. Michael had a wonderful memory of Johnville and its history.
Michael is survived by his three sisters, Mary Lou Mahoney, Catherine Mahoney and Evelyn Pierce (Bob); nephews and niece, Christopher Pierce (Kristi), Marc Soja (Kathy) and Sarah Draper (Jody); great-nephews, Quinn and Pierce Draper and Adam Soja; six aunts, Lillian, Bea, Evelyn, Monica, Joan and Marg and many cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 am. Fr. Owen Burns as celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery.
