Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, of Gilbert George Wedge of Borden-Carleton, age 74 years, completed his earthly journey. Husband of Margaret Anne (Warren) Wedge. Son of the late Agno Wedge and the late Mary Eva (Arsenault) Wedge. Brother of Marie Sonier, Summerside; Edward Wedge, Ontario; Willard Wedge, Traveller’s Rest; Loretta Colwill (Carman), Summerside; and Nancy Gilbert, N.S. Father of Michael Wedge, B.C., and Darren (Angie) Wedge, AB. Grandfather of Charlotte-Mae Wedge and Brodie Wedge. Also survived by 20 nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Gilbert is predeceased by sisters, Helen Ellis and Marjorie Muttart, and a son Danny Wedge. Visitation will be at Kinkora Place, Kinkora, on Monday, Nov. 16, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay, on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Peter‘s Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay.
